On behalf of the Board of Water Polo Qld (WPQ), I would like to advise that unfortunately our casual North Queensland Development Officer â€“ Kristine Fowler finished up with Water Polo Qld last week. Kristine has taken the opportunity to accept a full-time Club Development role with Tennis Qld in Townsville.

DELFINA SPORT ANNOUNCED AS OFFICIAL SWIMWEAR PARTNER

Water Polo Queensland Inc. (WPQ) are excited to announce that Delfina SportÂ will be continuing as the official swimwear partner for WPQ for the next 3 years. Delfina SportÂ Â will design and supply all official State and Country Team swimwear as well as event, program and training swimwear, water polo and silicon caps and pool bags.

Emerging Athletes Pathways - Pre Event Payments

From 24 January 2020, Emerging Athlete Pathways will trial pre-event payments for eligible athletes and officials under the age of 18 to attend eligible sporting events. Emerging Athlete Pathways will be able to support eligible athletes and officials before they compete, recognising that there are young athletes who may face financial barriers to fulfilling their athletic potential.

Expression of Interest - Finance Representative, WPQ FARM Committee

The Management Committee of Water Polo Queensland Inc. (WPQ) is seeking to appoint an independent finance representative to be a member of the WPQ Finance, Audit, Risk and Management (FARM) Committee. Ideally this person would not have any connection with water polo and should have qualifications, skills and experience in finance and accountancy as a CPA or Chartered Accountant.
