Brisbane Metropolitan SENIOR Competition

The Brisbane Metropolitan Water Polo Senior Competition will be scheduled to be held on Thursday nights at Fortitude Valley Pool. 
Water Polo Queensland are excited to allow for a social and competitive competition, catering for athletes aged 17 and above. 

2024 Season | 17th October 2024 - 12th December 2024
2025 Season | 30th January 2025 - 27th March 2025 (TBC)

WPQ is currently calling for expression of interest both Social and Competitive divisions for both the Mens and Womens Competition. Depending on the amount of interest we receive will determine if it goes ahead. 

Please note that the Competitive division participants are required to be Platinum members.

Team Fee and Nomination

The team registration fee will be approx. $950 per team plus GST (Team fee is an estimate and will be finalised once EOIs have been received). Please Note: Team registrations will be limited to a minimum of 9 and maximum of 13 athletes per team.

EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FORM

Referees and Table Officials

Water Polo Queensland will administer the delivery, draw and running of the competition. Furthermore, Water Polo Queensland will be responsible for the recruitment, management, and appointment of 2 referees for the Competitive division and 1 referee for the Social division.

Each team will be required to provide a two table officials for a fixture after their game as per a roster where they will complete the score card and scoreboard.
The Social division will also need to provide one table officials for a fixture after their game, where they will complete the 'flip' scoreboard.
