FlippaSkillsFlippaSkills is a national consistent activity based training program junior beginner club members to learn the basic skills of water polo in a fun way. FlippaSkills consist of a training program delivery handbook, a skill achievement tracker and level completion certificates. The program is designed to develop the skills and confidence to participate in FlippaBall competitions and eventually progress into u12’s club or school comps. Who is best suited to FlippaSkills?Participants aged 7 to 12 years. To commence a Flippa program it is recommended that participants should be able to complete 25 meters of any basic stroke unaided, with no water polo experience. Who can deliver a FlippaSkills program?All FlippaSkills programs must be delivered by WPA accredited coaches. Who can participate?All FlippaSkills participants must be registered as a FlippaMember with a club, on the WPA database. Speak to your Club or water polo coach for more details. What skills does the program teach?The FlippaSkills program is made up of five (5) areas: Skill Development Areas:1. Physical 2. Preparation 3. Aquatic Skills 4. Ball Handling 5.
