Brisbane Tritons Water Polo is seeking the services of a Casual Senior Coach to develop and deliver quality Water Polo coaching programs and provide a consistent customer experience to create an environment that will maximise participation, retain, and grow membership. Brisbane Tritons is an LGBTQIA inclusive club that competes in the Senior BWPI competitive fixtures.

In this paid role you will be solely responsible for the development and implementation of the coaching program in line with Club objectives. You must have strong interpersonal, planning and organisation skills to document, deliver and measure the effectiveness of your program.
You need to act with integrity at all times and deliver an engaging program that integrates the Think. Act. Play awareness program values.
You must be dynamic in your delivery and adaptable to the varying levels of experience in this relatively young Club.
Our Club is strong with approximately 80 members ranging in age from 18 to 55. Our members participate for a variety of reasons from social to competitive and all are equally important. We conduct regular Bootcamp intakes to encourage absolute beginners to become part of the Club. A number of our members have experience at an adult competitive level.
You must have be, at minimum, a Development Coach (as per the WPA Education Curriculum) and a current “working with Children check” as required by Water Polo Queensland. It is also highly desirable for the candidate to be, at minimum a Community Referee Part of this role involves the mentoring of upcoming coaches and referees within the Club.
We train weekly on a Sunday afternoon and compete on a Tuesday night during the summer competitive fixtures. We train all year round.
Attendance at interstate and international events would be negotiated on a case by case arrangement but participation is strongly encouraged.

Financial reward will be commensurate with experience and agreed time commitment of between 5 and 10 hours per week.
