Call of Entries - 2017/18 Queensland Country Championships

Water Polo Queensland is now calling for entries for the 2017/18 Queensland Country Championships to be held in Townsville – February 9th – 11th 2018.

Team nominations can now be submitted online via SportsTG under the ‘TEAMS’ tab on your SportsTG dashboard in the following divisions:

• Men (OPEN)
• Women (OPEN)

Team nominations will close on Friday, December 1st, 2017

Competition Rules

Round Games will be played using 5 minutes actual time and Finals using 6 mins actual time.

Final competition rules will be distributed prior to the tournament.

Referees

Referees are invited to submit an expression of interest to be selected to officiate at these championships. Click here to complete EOI Form. Referees will be appointed by Water Polo Queensland.

Age Eligibility Criteria

The championships are a Senior (Open Grade) competition. Player Born 2000 or earlier are eligible to compete. Exemption can be sought by players Born 2001 & 2002 by following the process outlined in the WPQ Age Eligibility Policy

Team Nomination Fee

All team entries must be submitted online on or before the close of business Friday 1st November. Team nomination/entry fee is $600.00 +GST per team. WPQ will invoice the club directly and payment is required prior to the commencement of the championships.
