Queensland teams showcased their talent at the Australian Youth Championships, leaving an indelible mark on the national stage. With an impressive turnout of 83 teams and over 859 athletes, the Queensland water polo community demonstrated not only their strength of numbers but also their competitive spirit.
The Queensland contingent emerged triumphant with a remarkable medal haul, underscoring their commitment to excellence. A total of 4 gold medals, 7 silver medals, and 4 bronze medals adorned the necks of Queensland's talented athletes; a testament to their dedication, skill, and teamwork.
Beyond the outstanding performance in the pool, Queensland also made a significant impact off the water. Fifteen officials from the state were selected to assist with the event, contributing their expertise to ensure the smooth running of the championships.
