IN NEW LIVE STREAMING DEAL

Water Polo Queensland Inc. (WPQ) is excited to announce a formal partnership agreement with News Corp Australia as part of a state-wide live streaming arrangement for all State level events, including the Brisbane Water Polo competition.

The partnership will see all matches of the 2021 WPQ Delfina Premier League and medal matches of all WPQ State events live streamed across the News Corp Australia mastheads, including the 2022 State Titles, 2022 Qld Country Championships, the inaugural 2021 Junior Queensland Country Championships and the 2022 Brisbane Water Polo competition.

Across the five WPQ State events and the Brisbane Water Polo competition almost 100 water polo matches will be streamed across the 2021/2022 season.

Water Polo Queensland CEO, Mel Woosnam, said “the partnership with News Corp Australia follows on from a successful trial last year and is a wonderful opportunity to showcase all levels of water polo across Queensland and also Nationally through the News Corp Australia mastheads.

“We are excited to be partnering with News Corp Australia for our premier State level events to deliver more live water polo than ever before. Not only does this agreement provide an opportunity to deliver live water polo but it also provides the added value of digital content through the Courier Mail and affiliated regional media channels across Queensland and Nationally through the News Corp Australia network”, she said.
